Hello, friends! September and the first two weeks of October have been busy times at work. Which means I didn’t have alot of energy left to work on reading and blogging stuff. Alot of my free time has been spent working on my cross stitch project and I’m proud to announce that I finally finished!

Sunflower cross stitch

The next one I’m going to start is a My Neighbor Totoro kit. I have really liked the pre-stamped kits for Tapestry Market. They have the stamped canvas, floss, and needles all packed together. I also like how easy stamped cross stitch is. The pattern is already on the canvas and it is literally just an x shaped stitch over and over. And I just change colors as the pattern shows.

I may try to get back into audiobooks so I can still read while I work on my project. I’ve also been feeling like quilting again. There’s a quilt top sitting in my closet that has been calling my name.
