It’s Finally May

By the time this posts, school will be out for summer! I am so excited for this much needed break! May is another month that seemed to go by slow and fast at the same time. I’ll have a few weeks off before I start my new job. This summer we have one trip planned so far. We are going to take our daughter to Glen Rose, Texas. We are going to check out the Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, and Big Rocks Park. Depending on how we are doing financially, I would like to make a second trip to the beach. I am thinking either Port Aransas or Rockport, Texas. So hopefully, it’s something we can pull off.

Birthday Fun

My birthday was in May too and I chose to have a date night with my husband as my present. We had dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant and then went to see our local symphony. They played The Planets by Gustav Holt and the Star Wars Suit by John Williams. It was so much fun! I got to see my high school band director play in the symphony. It was really cool. My husband slept through the whole thing though haha! He’s not a band nerd like me.

Other Projects

I’m still working on my stamped cross stitch. There is still alot to do but it’s starting to slowly fill in. Gardening has kind of been put on hold. This month has just been too tiring with all of the end of year stuff going on at school. Hopefully I’ll get to pick it back up soon. I am also planning to do some major purging around the house. The clutter is starting to pile up!

Let’s get this round up started!
