My thoughts:
A Morbid Taste for Bones has been on my TBR for a while because I love historical mysteries. I was a bit disappointed in this one. I didn’t love it or hate it. It was just ok. The pacing was slow and I ended up skimming through alot of the book. The writing was very wordy. I liked reading about the Welsh setting and the characters living in that society. The parts where the action picked up were good and I enjoyed those parts. The ending was sweet and I liked how the book wrapped everything up. I have seen several readers say that the series gets better as it progresses but I’m not sure if I will continue anytime soon…mostly because I already have so many books on my TBR pile. I might give the tv series a try! It’s been awhile since I’ve watched a good historical drama.
